Adult BJJ Fundamentals | Advanced
At SENSEI STUDIO'S we have a program for everyone!
At Sensei Studio's our Jiu-Jitsu program is divided into two primary classes, Fundamentals and Advanced.
The Fundamental classes are designed for beginners with little or no experience. Here you will learn the basic moves, positions, and fundamentals of Jiu-Jitsu. In this class, you will learn techniques that are essential to building a solid understanding of Jiu-Jitsu principles and concepts. All fundamental classes are based on Professor Caio Terra’s curriculum. We believe that this class is very important, and we encourage even our advanced students to review and drill these moves as often as they can. This is a Traditional Gi class and is an hour long.
The Advanced class consists of drilling and learning advanced techniques and applying our knowledge in a real-world training environment. Although it’s designed for people with more experience, we encourage the intermediate practitioners to do this class as well as the Fundamentals class. The use of a Gi is mandatory in this class. Usually, this class begins right after a Fundamentals class, and students will start class with a light warm-up, followed by technique and live training towards the end of class. This class is at least an hour long, and students are NOT obligated to stay the whole class. No-gi is part of the advanced program!
